Green Crack Strain Review
Lots of disagreements on the lineage, but most agree that Skunk #1 and Deadhead are somewhere in the mix.
While I typically enjoy indicas and indica-dominant hybrids, Green Crack is a sativa-dominant strain that I can certainly appreciate.
The buds are filled with crystals, but typically not as rock hard as an indica would be. The green hue is bright with smaller darker green sections throughout the bud.
The smell of this strain is sweet and fruity with lemon and citrus undertones. The taste is decent with Green Crack, but not as potent and danky as most indicas that I am accustomed to. It seems to me that most sativa-dominant strains might have a better smell than indicas, but the taste just doesn't permeate through while smoking as one would like it to.
The effects of Green Crack are what you would expect from any potent sativa. Energetic, uplifting, happy, creativity-inducing, and an increase in focus. While everyone may not experience the same effects, I think that this would be the consensus with Green Crack.
To me, this is a perfect strain for the morning time, going out in public, or having to get some creative work done. It won't get the average smoker sleepy or groggy, and the focus/creativity I get is something to be desired.
Because of the popularity of this strain, it certainly won't be hard to find in any recreational or medicinal state.
I would definitely recommend trying this strain out at least once, especially if you are a fan of sativas. While it isn't my favorite in the world, it definitely doesn't disappoint.
