The Hunt For Wild Cannabis

I spent around 10 hours traveling from Chengdu to Lake Lugu by bus. On the way up I kept an eye on for cannabis plants and had the pleasure of spotting a few on the way to the lake.
I had booked a night a nearby camping site and once I had arrived I went for a walk. It wasn't long before I spotted my first beautiful cannabis plant.

The following day I went back to the plant and picked a leaf from it. I came across a local farmer and asked him if it was indeed cannabis and not a hemp plant. He confirmed that it was cannabis and not hemp. He told me that the seeds from the plants would be ready to pick in october/november, being the end of July it is far to early and the plants are only just starting to show signs of budding. He also said that the locals put the seeds in soup during winter.
