Oh – my – God. I can’t believe this. I’m watching this on television in total disbelief. Are you seeing this?

PASSENGER 1
So much for my flight to New York today.

PASSENGER 2
They’re canceling flights to New York?

PASSENGER 1
How can they fly to New York today after this?

DESMOND MAYDAY
Flights to New York are canceled.

OMINOUS VOICE OVER THE INTERCOM:
Good morning LAX. Due to unexpected events in New York today all flights have been canceled. We repeat, all flights from LAX to other destinations have been canceled today do to unexpected events in New York. Thank you for your understanding.

DESMOND MAYDAY
Did you hear that? They canceled all flights from LAX. We’ll need to cancel that meeting in Miami with the free agent. He really would add depth to our bench. Let’s hope this clears up before the NBA season gets into full swing.
