The draconian laws surrounding cannabis legalisation are starting to change bringing opportunities to use this ancient medicine in improved ways to assist harm reduction. Plants are powerful and have incredible opportunities to heal yet the pharmaceutical companies do not want us to have access or knowledge of medicinal plants!
That is not to say that plants are always positive. There are many plants which are poisonous or can cause severe adverse physical reactions. The knowledge of plants are ancient and they deserve to be treated with respect. Harm reduction is key and I recently found a potential new product which may assist in this harm reduction.
A Cannabis Drink To Assist Harm Reduction
Canada's legalising approach to cannabis may allow drinks to be produced legally that contain one of the active ingredient in cannabis - THC. Drinks are already produced containing the powerful medicine cannabis medicine CBD.
These drinks could have a powerful impact on the use of cannabis and harm reduction for those with illnesses. Oral ingestion of cannabis would hopefully reduce the harmful impact that smoking or vaporising cannabis may have.
The Growth In Drinkable Cannabis Products
This trend of drinkable cannabis products may continue to grow. Recently drinks giant Constellation bought a minority stake in Canopy Growth Corp for £141 million with plans to make cannabis drinks of its own. Canopy Growth Corp is the world’s largest publicly traded cannabis company.
Developments and legalisation seem to be picking up momentum for this ancient and powerful medicine! The future will be interesting to watch! 😉
