I can see myself in a headline like this about 30 years from now. lol :-P
This week on the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv, Israel, police caught a 65-year-old man driving around while rolling a joint with a traffic ticket that he received on a prior occasion.
Police pulled up to the man's car in traffic and noticed that he was fiddling around with something on his lap, after tailing him to get a better look in the car they noticed he was rolling a joint.
“The paper on which he was rolling was in fact a traffic ticket from a few months ago,” a statement from the police said.
According to the Times of Israel, the man’s driving license was invalidated for 60 days, or until he faces trial.
Cannabis is still illegal in Israel, but the penalties are not nearly as harsh as they are in the US.
