So it's been 14 days since my last Solo Cup update. For those that are just hering of the Solo Cup challenge, see this past post. So far it's going as expected. The plant has stretched, and it is starting to get symptoms of being root bound. But looks like I will make it to the finish line, and who knows, I may be surprised at my results.
It's a giraffe!
This Tall Happy Jamaican really is living up to it's name! She is tall, and maybe a little happy? Actually a few days ago she was not looking to good, so I pulled out the root ball, and did a little bit of trimming. It really seems like it helps. While i was at it, I added a little bit of fresh soil. So now the cup is at full capacity with soil. Hopefully I will give it a good amount of room to grow the flowers.
Hopefullyshe is done stretching and will just start growing bigger buds!
Just look at how tall this plant is! I am really surprised. It may be a little stunted, but this THJ is going to be an interesting plant to see what she does. Those purple hues are really looking sexy. Im not sure how long of a flower time I got, but I am told it is not short. Quite possibly 11 weeks. To put that in perspective, my Steem Og flowers in 8-9 weeks. Probally picked the worst strain for this challenge, but that is what makes it more fun ;)
