This is a brand new room I am in the process of finishing. These plants are getting acclimated while I put the finishing touches on. We have maybe a week before I change the light cycle and start to flower them. All of the plants are Gorilla glue 4 (GG4). I find it much easier to control growth and diagnose problems if I run a whole room of the same variety.
You can see in the pictures that I have my irrigation hooked up. I use a product called Tropf Blumats. A ceramic cone measures the moisture level in the soil and will apply water via a drip hose when needed. These drippers need to be watched but save me a lot of time in the end.
I am using green velcro strips to hold the branches of the plants down. This is called LST (low stress training). It is considered low stress compared to other techniques such as super cropping and topping. This redistributes the auxin hormone from the top growing tip to lower ones. In turn this creates a more bushy plant. You will see in the future why this is important.
