Have you hear the movie Clash of the Titans? The fight of Perseus, son of Zeus, who killed Medusa and rescued Andromeda from a sea monster sent by Poseidon was breathtaking, Just like ours.
Each of us can be like Perseus. We are all capable of saving mankid in our own simple ways. To do this, he or she must first be fueled with strength, courage and perseverance in order to protect the people, the community and the environment against fraud, abuse of power and great apathy. A person, who is capable enough to face different challenges, has good intentions and one who believes in God.
All of us can be a hero of our community by simply promoting a clean environment. This contributes in the development to the society and to the whole world as well. One example is joining the Save Taguibo Watershed Network. An issue which never ends but if that's the only way in order to awaken the people that our watershed badly needs our help then this should continue to fight its vision and to keep on reminding us all of our individual who loves and cares for our mother earth. It is time for us to wake up and do something. It doesn't require an abrupt change but it needs to take an immediate action. We should start to reconstruct in order to attain this new change
Power does not talk about how physically strong you are or how influential you are but it pertains on how you look at yourself. Respect and a sincere heart are the most important things which must be present in our lives. Let me introduce to you this scenario to explain further this idea.
A schoolboy was about to enter the entrance gate of his school. When the security guard called his attention for not wearing his proper uniform, he got angry and scolded the guard. The guard just nodded and let the boy pass the gate. This is a clear manifestation of an abuse. It portrays an ugly picture and misunderstood the true essence of power.
