Lions Head is a mountain between Table Mountain and Signal Hill and is a very popular hiking trial.
The total elevation is about 670m and can take 30min for the fit climbers to reach the top and for everyone else (like myself) about 50min to an hour. It's not a suggested climb if one is afraid of heights!
Lions Head has 2 ladders and a set of chains that needs to be used to ascend and descend the mountain.
I have been hiking the mountain most Fridays for the past 3 years! Some don't understand how this is in no way a monotonous routine! The mountain is different every time we hike!
