Hey guys! I’m new to this concept, and therefore feel free to correct my abrasive posting nature early on.
My name is Melle. I attached below some relevant photos to this intro, feel free to gaze. I know many of you are Tech savvy, somewhat anarchist, change seekers who appreciate innovation and that which is considered “outside of the box”.
I’m curious however, do we have some desperately passionate car nuts out there ? I am a lady immersed into a community dominated by another gender, and it’s a passion not for the faint of heart, nor the daintiest of hands.
I have owned many vehicles. But this car has my heart. It is a 1998 Toyota Aristo. For those of you shaking your head this early on, that’s okay. It is a large black sedan, from Japan in wrong wheel drive. It’s not a normal Aristo for those going “it’s automatic, not a drivers car”, this one I have replaced the driveline with a 5 speed gearbox from a mk3 Supra, and attached is the factory 2JZ-GTE. For those that know, this is the holy grail of inline 6’s. The Supra engine. The 1000whp capable, drag leaderboard holder, badass and reliable Toyota engine from the 90’s.
If anyone’s still in on this, I have huge plans for this car. I work at a fairly popular Performance tuning shop, a pioneer in tuning these cars. If you stick around, I’d love to share the build with a fresh audience.
