Tomorrow is the concours de elegance in Denver. It is my favorite local car show. I have gone three years in a row with the Diablo. I also have taken my Porsche 928 and Lotus Esprit V8 Twin Turbo. This year I am taking my Diablo and the 1981 Aston Martin V8 Volante. I had a guy detail my car today and parked the Diablo next to my 5.0 Mustang. The Mustang feels like a pretty low car but look at it next to the Diablo.
It is hard to explain how low and wide the Diablo is, but this gives an idea. It was one if the lowest and widest cars ever built.
I bought the Aston a few months ago and the first time I saw an Aston Martin V8 was at this car show two years ago. I loved it and it was my favorite car at the show. I can't believe it is mine.
