I remember when I was quite a bit younger reading of Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, and BMW Owners contacting Rolls Royce and wanting to order the new Sporty Rolls Royce that flew past them on the Autobahn while they were doing close on 300KPH!
Rolls Royce said they did not know what they were talking about, but the sightings and Rumours went on!
Eventually it was discovered that someone had built up some Hot Rodded Car , Put a Rolls Royce Grille on it ( including Mascot,) with the Mighty 27 litre Supercharged Rolls Royce Merlin ,Aero engine fitted!
My Dad was a Spitfire and Bomber Mechanic during the 2nd World War and we always had quite a few Spares lying around which my Dad assisted Guy's rebuilding Spitfires with when I was a Kid.

So the Fact that I built a VW Beetle Years ago with a Chrysler 318 Cubic Inch Motor ( highly Modded )in it, seems pretty tame in comparison?
