Introduction to GT3 RS
That's right, you've read it right. Not GT3, but GT3 RS.
For this post, the reason why I highlight on the specific trim, GT3 RS, is considered the ultimate toy by affluent Porsche enthusiasts, therefore goes through mechanical modification often small or entire change. After all, among all super car makes, Porsche is the make that gets extreme attention to mods and performance enhancement; for instance, not so much on Ferrari, Lamborghini, and etc. So why not pay attention to what's at the top of food chain?

Many Porsche aficionados would argue GT3 RS is the car you want to get among 911 models.
Well, why would that be the case? It's just so raw with ridiculous horsepower. It's purely designed to race on tracks and every bit of driving experience that you feel through your feet, hands, butt, back and sound blasting your ears go unwasted. It's like when you've just smoked a joint and a girl you picked up from a club is giving you a blow. Anyways before we move in, check GT3 RS interior, just mind-blowing.
The GT3 is named after the FIA Group GT3 class in which it was designed to compete. It was first launched in 1999 and a numerous variations and design have been introduced. As mentioned earlier, there has been continuous demand and fandom, more than 14,000 911 GT3 cars have been produced.
The GT3 has had a successful racing career in the national Porsche Carrera Cup series, and the international Porsche Supercup. It has won championship and endurance races like the GT class of the American Le Mans Series seven times, first overall in the 24 Hours of Daytona, and first overall at the 24 Hours Nürburgring six times.
Many people recognizes the GT3 by its big wing that generates 500lb downforce when actively engaged. And for this model, Porsche continues to stick with naturally aspirated engine as opposed to turbocharged and indeed introduces rear wheel drive configuration for speed maximization.
There's a shop in Northern California called Shark Werks where they specialize performance and sound enhancement on late water-cooled GT3 RS. For drivability purpose and too much adherence to regulations, the car is somewhat softened once a brand new car is handed to the owner. Shark Werks' job is to awaken the giant within. They reconfigure engines with in-house made cranks and by installing their exhaust system. In the end, unfiltered beast sound is unleashed and you can experience more raw untamed driving experience, not to mention extra horsepower and torque. The coolest part is that no change occurs or affects catalytic converter and you'll not be violating any emission control regulations. The following is one of the signature masterpieces.
Just beautiful. It' an incredible eye candy. On top of that, since seeing and hearing is better than reading. Let's experience it with our ears firsthand.
DIRTY FACTS

Cheers, on to the next one.
