Our tenth Classic Car Show spotlight goes on a 1972 Ford Pantera De Tomaso.
Pantera, which means Panther in Italian, is a mid-engine Sports Car Produced by De Tomaso an Italian Vehicle Manufacturer in Modena, Italy, from 1971-1992, with over 7,000 vehicles produced over this time period. Also noteworthy, the Pantera was designed by the famous Ghia Italian Design Studio. Initial production was only 3-vehicles per day.
While the Pantera was powered with Ford Engines throughout its life cycle, Ford only imported the Pantera for subsequent Sale here in the U.S., in Lincoln-Mercury Dealerships, from 1971-1975. Between the 1976-1992 time period the Pantera came in different models, with ever increasing prices.
This beautiful 1972 Ford Pantera comes equipped with a 351 CID V8 Engine, and 5-Speed Manual Transmission, that showcases its strikingly beautiful classic Italian (Ghia) artistic design and stature, which sets it apart from other Sports Cars.
