It looks like McLaren have done a lot of work in the wind tunnel and come up with some interesting aerodynamic devices on the new car, similar to last year the front wing support has four vents to channel the airflow through the underbody and the bargeboards look to be fairly complex from the top view.
The top air intake is very small seems like they are going in the opposite direction to most teams here. Halo looks out of place and ugly as ever.
The rear wing is very aggressive as well with many vents on the sides.
The livery is much improved on last year with a change of shade for the main orange colour with flashes of blue on the wings, however there is still a lot of room on the back of the car for more sponsors or will they continue like this?
Fingers crossed with a more powerful engine (than last years Honda) they should be able to move up the grid very easily.
Will we see McLaren back on top?
Will they give Fernando a winning car to be able to show once again what a top rate driver he is? I hope so it would be great to see him throw the spanner in the works and give Mercedes a hard time, McLaren may be fighting with Redbull for the scrapes but it does look promising.
