History of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was introduced in 1977 as the Britain's firt supercar thanks to its 5.3 L V8 engine that can reach 100kmh in just 5.3 seconds. In 1990, Aston Martin launched the Volante version with big wheelarches and sideskirts.

In 1986, it's the turn of the X-Pack upgrade, reference to its 4x2 Weber carburetor setup. Only 137 Volantes X-Pack were built. Just for info, this car was never sold in the US due to emissions regulations

Specification

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage X-Pack has quad camshaft aluminum V-8 engine with four dual-barrel Weber carburetors producing 432 hp. It can reach 320 kmh (220 mph).
