Today I have for you this awesome Morris minor traveller from the All British day in Brisbane Australia.
The Morris minor traveller was added to the minor sedan and convertible range in 1953 just before the ute and panelvans joined in the fold. The traveller in the photo is a 1955 model.
The traveller front half was based on the sedan and convertible while the rear half is all new and made of an timber frame made from Ash with aluminum side and roof panels and a pair of Ash framed rear doors. this setup was used until the end of traveller production in 1971. That's an 18 year production run not bad though not as long as the sedan version of the Minor running from 1948-1971
Thanks for following along with me on this series from the All British day.
