Today I bring to you this Wolseley 6/80 from the All British day in Brisbane Australia.
These Wolseley 6/80 cars are based on the Morris six. Both being on sale from 1948 with production finishing in 1954. The Wolseley was the up market model with much nicer interior and a more powerful engine (72 bhp) due to being fitted with twin carburetors against the single on the Morris version (66 bhp). The feature I find most interesting with these vehicles is they had a straight six 2.2 L engine with single over head cam and being gear driven. Very rare for any vehicle in 1948 to have a OHC engine.
Looks impressive in black.
Thanks for following along with me on this series from the All British day.
