Made in Germany by Volkswagen which means “People's Car”
It started in 1934 when dictator Adolf Hitler commissioned Austrian engineer Ferdinand Porsche to develop a small car “for the people”
January 3, 1959, began manufacturing in Brazil.
Curiosities:
The Beetle, was made at the beginning at Hitler's request
The Volkswagen branch in the United States restored a 1967 Beetle for free, which is still used daily by the first owner.
The car is so loved by Brazilians that it won a day in its honor January 20.

Whether convertible or not is a car loved by many people, and full of stories from its owners, the company recently made its last copy and Volkswagen, and closed in Mexico on July 13, 2019.
