Not a lambo, but hey it still starts with an L

April of 2017 is when I was first exposed to the astronomical gains cryptocurrencies could produce. Ethereum's meteoric rise from less than $10 to almost $400 in 6 months. sparked my interest and I started doing research. I was soon convinced blockchain and cryptocurrencies were the future, so I decided to set up an account and throw $500 into the market just to test the waters. I chose NEO (at the time AntShares) and bought in at around $8. Well as I'm sure many of you know, NEO went to a high of around $160 by January 2018. I sold when my investment was worth over $8,000. I invested half back into VeChain and took half out to lease a beautiful Lexus IS 250 F Sport. Below is a pic:

By the way, I had no idea you could take over people's leases that wanted to get out of them, which is what I did for the Lexus. Check it out, swapalease.com. Sounds scammy but is very legit. I went through Lexus and everything. No down payment, took over all lease benefits, and only have to lease for 14 months. 

Anyways, I was dumbfounded by the returns I received and the fact that I was able to convert a small amount of physical cash into intangible computer code then back into a beautiful car. If only I had put in more! Oh well, I am hoping my VeChain investments pay off which I have no doubts they will. They are a pretty awesome blockchain with some great tech, developers and partnerships. 

I am by no means only in this for the money and 'lambos' as many memes say. I am a firm believer in the liberating power cryptocurrencies and blockchain can provide to the world and do my best to spread information on them, but I just couldn't resist treating myself :)
