As many of you know, we are huge fans of SsangYong here at Planetauto, and this is their new, fifth generation of their SUV.
The ladder on frame chassis that this SUV is based on is also used for SsangYong's Musso pick up - and you all know how much I love a Musso 😍
In 2017, they completely revamped this SUV, by which I mean that they rebuilt it from the ground up, with the only thing carried over from the third gen was the name. SsangYong followed up with a facelift to the fourth gen model in 2020.
In 2021, this fifth gen model was released, with new design language and uprated safety and tech. This seven seater has a lot going for it, and when you consider what you get for the money, it's astounding. It's got magic rear seats, fantastic off roading capabilities, and options to make most aspects of your daily life easier.
