We got the chance to catch up with The AA at the Commercial Vehicle Show, and as we've posted on recently, we got chance to see some of the Silence EV bikes and scooters, and they have also created a concept vehicle for The AA.
The AA is one of the biggest breakdown services in the U.K. and it is interesting to see the direction they have taken in terms of EV's.
With the new ULEZ and Clean Air Zones, and the fact that from 2030, petrol and diesel cars won't be sold in the U.K., there is a massive shift towards EV's.
The AA have started to look towards this shift, and figure out how they will be able to access call outs in ULEZ zones. The answer may well be this concept EV scooter from Silence.
It's been modified to carry all the necessary tools and kit, so that a breakdown recovery can quickly and easily get you moving again, without breaking the restrictions in urban environments.
