Recently Ford announced their new ST model, the Edge. It's going to have a 2.7L Ecoboost V6 making 335 hp and 380 lb/ft of torque. One thing that's going to be interesting to see is how people react to an ST car without a manual transmission. Instead of the 6-speed manuals that the Focus and Fiesta ST have the Edge ST is going to have an 8-speed automatic. Ford hasn't released pricing yet but I expect it will be around $40,000. I am excited to drive one of these but a little disappointed that there is no 6-speed option.
