James Hall Museum of Transport; Episode 5 - The last one.
Finally, I arrived at my last post on the transport museum visit., Here are two of my favourite cars, a vintage VW Beetle and Porsche.
This Opel Record is also a unique car, as a publicity stunt, Opel had this car drive the same distance as from earth to the moon and back, with minimal repairs and no major breakdowns.
The next section had some nice trams and busses on display.
Just look at that nice winding staircase in the bus, leading to the upper deck.
The bus below, also had a nice stair case to the top of the bus.
As kids, we also had a travelling library, where we borrowed some books, did any of you ever had something like this in your town? (The one that I remember was a bit more modern than the one pictured, with one being able to walk on the inside to get to the books.
Another nice old bus with some nice advertising on the sides.
I really loved this old wooden tram on the photo below. Look at the ease of access, to the tram as the entire side was open, with stairs running the length of the tram.
All to soon (5 episodes later) we were on our way back home again. We enjoyed the ride on our classic bikes as well as the visit to this very interesting museum.
I hope you enjoyed the post and that you have a wonderful day.
