Huawei has created a new premium car brand: Luxeed. The first model is the Luxeed S7 EV, created in cooperation with the Chery. Contrary to previous predictions, this model will compete with the Tesla Model S and not the Tesla 3 as previously thought. The newcomer is expected to have an extremely low energy consumption of 12.4 kWh/100 km (62 miles). The 800V technology allows you to charge 430 km of range (267 miles) in 15 minutes.
The car is equipped with a number of sensors and a LiDAR sensor, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 11 high-resolution cameras and offers a self-parking function. It's no surprise that infotainment works on the basis of HarmonyOS, similar to smartphones from Huawei. By the end of the year, Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA) will be available, fulfilling a similar role to Tesla's FSD, but only in China. Later, the Parking Valet feature will be introduced in 7 major Chinese cities.
The two electric motors provide a total of 489 horsepower (496 PS). This allows you to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.3 seconds.
Prices from 249,800 ($35,269) to 349,800 yuan ($49,391)
