Habedere,
sorry for the delay.
Yesterday I had some problems with my pictures.
If you missed the 13th part (Letters); here it is:
Project: Casemod - Hardware@Wall - Letters
After the frame was mounted I installed SMD.
I cut the strips and the cables to the right length.
Then a lot of soldering has to be done.
This is the result.
Lighted areas for the hardware and the lighted letters.
Then I mounted the materials and components to the main panel.
You can see an example of the different layers on the radiator.
First white carbon foil onto the leather.
Then the plexiglass, breakout foil, white carbon foil, spacers
and in the end the hardware.
I did the same thing with/on the other components.
After the components, which have a watercooler, were mounted I started with the finial piping.
To bend the pipes I have used a simple tape, fixed with a clamp to the table.
I want to bend everything to 90 degree, that’s the reason why I use so many adapters.
Here some sample pictures from "CPU OUT MOSFET IN"-piping.
Done!
Another task that I have started was the cable sleeving.
I made some experiments how could I pass-through the cables to the backside.
In the end I have chosen some sleeves from MDPC-X.
I want to create a single-wire pass-through. So each wire had its one area that go to the backside.
For this cable cover I have used a 3mm MDF.
I marked the holes and drilled them.
After that I wrapped them with white carbon foil, placed them and put the cables thru.
In the same way I will create the other cable covers.
To work better and effective on the project I had to move it in an upright position.
To do this I used my 19" rack and modified it a little bit.
What's next?
Something "blue" comes into play.
Servus and cu next time.
