In steemit, spanish language is under control of a monopoly, the language has become a brand and unless you post under the brand tags and are friendly with the brand; Your posts are damned to collecting dust in oblivion, or if you are lucky they get curated by small curation groups that will give a little more than dust as payout.
This is worrisome at several levels: but mainly because; we allowed a decentralized network to become centralized.
They created and fund a "post police" 
They don't quote sources for the images they use in their profiles, yet they or their team call thieves* users who do the same (the funnel law we call this in my country)
They fund they curation branches (6 last count) which then they full vote on reports see example where for voting 15 posts to allocate 5$ per post they cashed 36 from the regards pool (2.4$ per vote)

They dont promote adoption or retention: New users make mistakes, we should be here to teach them, to share with them and to make them evolve from humans to steemians, but when after your first post you are tagged by a feral cat, you are insulted when asking for explanations, and all your future posts are ignored forever because you are on their list these users leave.
This is not a post about unfairness, the free market rules that drive steemit are at work here, however we need to open our eyes and start seeing those big guilds and groups for what they really are.
Users are the ones who have allowed this to happen by complying and lowering their heads to avoid not having their votes, and these supposedly "helping hand" they provide it is just a means to reap the rewards pool.
It is up to you to use the imposed tags or condemn your posts to dust, i understand that many have chosen to do so because especially in south america steemit can be a much needed source of income and i don't blame the users, i blame US, i blame everyone silence and everyone lack of action to help restore the balance and actually embrace the real spirit of this platform.
The shareholders have the right to decide what to do with their money and their witness votes.
But it will be interesting to look closely at what are they supporting and confirm wheter it is the direction they want this platform to maintain.

I decided to choose the side of right, to burn the possibility of receiving support to tell the uncomfortable truth.
Probably my witness career now is back to provide a server ad my projects wont get support.
But i said what needed to be said and my conscience is clean, i assume the political cost.
