I work for an animal shelter in NE Wisconsin. I estimate that I've interacted with a thousand cats during those four years. One of my all time favorites is an adult buff female named Cilantro. When I went into the stray room she meowed at me before she even saw me. I opened her cage. She put her front paws on me so I'd pick her up. I picked her up. She rubbed faces with me. I could hold her like a baby. Once she was no longer on medications I was able to get her to one of the pet stores in the area. On a Friday I probably saw ten people pick her up. She never got sick of being picked up. After a few days she was adopted.
