Baptism is the sacrament of initiation, its what make you a Christian and gives cleanse you from the sins of Adam. But the importance place on it is not much clear to so many Christians because a lots of us sees it as the only thing that makes us a born again. Baptism does not only makes you born again, it gives you lots of power over principalities and makes you a true heir of the kingdom of God. If properly received you have same power as all the prophets do. If you are a catholic then at baptism your journey to priesthood begins of which you may choose to be or not.
