Many cats have lived in this house, through the years.
We have had as many as five; at the moment there are just two.
Many years ago, someone had abandoned a bunch of kittens at Brady Lake State Park in Texas, and my Humans were there in their RV, at the time.
The first evening they were there, there was some very sad and desperate meowing in the distance. Several people from the campground heard this and went to look.
Turned out three scrawny little kittens of about 6-7 weeks of age were under and partly up a scrubby tree, and it seemed like there may have been more, the the commotion was most likely an owl having carried off one of them.
In one of those rare instances of "Human Goodness," the remaining three kittens were rescued and adopted on the spot by three caring groups of campers; the one that went with my Humans was named "Brady," after where he was found.
He grew up to be a super sweet natured and gentle cat with the most enormous whiskers you can imagine!
In this photo, he was barely a year old — the longest whisker we ever found around the house was almost 6" (15cm) long!
Brady now lives with my Human's ex and is — at last contact — still alive and well at age almost 15.
Hope you are all having a beautiful day!
