This is my first Caturday Saturday and I'm a bit late. But, it was a good day just busy.
Raziya, aka Fluff, Biddle, Widdle-Biddle (baby voice), is my little calico. She's 4 years old, born Oct. 13, 2013 and we've had her from 6 weeks old. She's a typical calico, very sassy, but the sweetest thing when she wants to be. And only when she's the initiator... or she resorts to violence, seriously.
I adore her little face and her crazy sparkly eyes! She was taken in from a friend who was helping a feral mom cat take care of her kittens on her covered back porch where they had a big insulated box with lots of blankets and a heat lamp on top. She was young when we brought her home because it was late November and the kittens were getting too cold and mom was losing interest - but she was fully weaned and wouldn't have kitten formula, we tried. Below is a series of photos of Miss Raziya.
In the following image she is not being choked out ;) my friend was holding her head up to get a clear picture to text me the special symmetry of her facial pattern. I picked her out weeks before we brought her home as a Christmas present for my daughter. But, since I do all the food, water, treats, letting in out in out, scooping liter, playing, cuddling... I turned out to be mom.
Above is a her patch of tortie in the shape of a tortoise shell.
Here we are playing with catnip and Da Bird :)
If you've made it this far I'll explain her name. Raziya was named after the first female Sultana in Delhi named Razia Sultana or Raziyya Sultana. We wanted an R name because of Roxy. We're geeks like that.
