Catland (Living with 7 cats)
Yay finally, #caturday !!
As I have said previously on my intro, I live with 7 cats at the moment and today is the day I want to introduce them!
My love for cats 💚 😻
Since a young age I was always in love with cats (who isn't?). My mom always had many cats, most of my family members had cats, my father is the only one who is not very fond of cats.
So, through my life I've helped many stray cats, picked some up from the street and found nice families for them. I also live near a small cat shelter which is owned by the city. So, my neighboor and I, who has an association to help cats, we picked up so many babies off the street.
Obviously I fell in love with many of them and in the end I had to adopt some! All of my cats were stray cats that I adopted, besides Shiva which is the daugther of one of my stepmother's cats.

On the photo from left to right are: Mio, Shiva and Ninja!
By age Queen Shiva is the oldest, followed by Lady Mio, then there is Ninja. These 3 were the only ones I had until one and a half years ago!
We found them in a cat litter in my neighbour's shelter, they were little cute babies, 1 month old, with no mother to be found. So we picked them up and took them to the vet hospital, they were pretty sick and in bad shape.

Then my partner and I decided to adopt one: Durga ! (I will write about her and her brothers on her own #caturday post)!
(Un)Fortunately Durga once escaped when she was 6 months old and for around 2-3 months I was really worried, thinking she was getting very sick, because she was super, super fat! 😹
This was taken on the 6th May (when I still thought she was just fat) !
One day, 20th May 2019, when I got home, I discovered that I had locked her by accident in one of our wardrobres and Durga was meowing to leave. I opened the door and she went straight to her food. Poor girl! Then I realized I was still hearing a very low meowing. And guess what? 🙀

Yay babies ! In the beginning we gave them names like White Paws, Little Monkey Girl, Leopard and Moustache, hoping that we would find families for them and not fall in love with them or get too attached (like that was even possible)! 😹
From left to right: Moustache, White Paws, Little Monkey and on the back Leopard.
Cats with 3 months, bigger than their mom still feeding!
They grew up and when they were around 3 months old, we gave Moustache to a good friend of mine. I decided to keep the only girl and name her Tsundari (daughter of Durga in Shiva, according to the hindu mythology), but honestly we still call her Little Monkey Girl!
My boyfriend decided to adopt the two brothers who were really inseparable and name them Tummy Leopold (Leopoldo Baguigas) and Tummy Fausto (Fausto Patinhas Baguigas) the names don't sound as good in english but we use them because they are cute fat little babies!
And this is our cute family with 7 cats ! 😺 😾 🙀 😼 😻 😸 😽
So this is it for now.
Every saturday I'll write a #caturday post and introduce them one by one in detail! Because each one of them is worthy of one dedicated post.
I also have to thank the steem community in general, everyone has been super helpful and kind to me, and also everyone who read, commented, and upvoted my intro! I am really happy for all the positive feedback! 😊
Cat love from Portugal to all of you! 💚
Cya all soon ! 😻
