It is once again my favorite day of the week: Caturday!
This weekend, I'm going to share some cute kitten pictures from when I was quite tiny. For the most part, we turned them into black-and-whites, to create a slightly nostalgic effect.
This is an "action" shot! I was really quick chasing things... sometimes too quick for the camera!
Busy Week
It has been a really busy week around here. My Humans have been very preoccupied with doing things in the garden because we have finally had some decent weather around here.
I mostly watch from the inside, where I can be safe and comfy in a sunny spot. Although I sometimes go outside "with supervision," this is not a safe place for cats to roam free — we have lots of eagles who think nothing of snatching up a cat as dinner. There's also a pack of coyotes in the neighborhood... and they are pretty sneaky.
Our neighbors down the street moved here with three cats who were "indoor-outdoor." Now the last of the three if a full-time indoor cat; the other two disappeared within a few months of their arrival here. Ouch!

Memorial Day Weekend
Here in the USA it's Memorial Day on Monday, which means this is generally a weekend of remembrance. People sometimes get Memorial Day and Veterans Day mixed up; a good rule of thumb is that Memorial Day observes and honors those who died while in service.
Memorial Day is not just something we have in the USA; many other countries have similar traditions.
And finally a kitten selfie to round things out!
Sometimes this day is known as "Remembrance Day" or "Armed Forces Day" in other parts of the world.
More Time Next Week?
I know, I'm a cat... so I shouldn't be worried about "time."
By when my Human is busy all the time, I don't get much access to the computer so I don't have as much time as I would like to "do the rounds" and visit all my friends here — feline or otherwise.
Hopefully things will settle a bit next week so I can go back to a more normal schedule.
Of course, there's always napping, when the Humans a busy. Thank goodness for napping!
Anyway, I'd better get this out to the world before it is no longer Caturday. Happy Caturday, everyone!
