My dear Steemians! An early Caturday post. Using colored pencils and some black gel pen! Grab your paper and heeeeeere weeeee goooooooo!
See results at the bottom of the page!
First, sketch it
Add base colors, ze nose!
Eyes
Light blue is a standard to create a glaze effect, ironic how its applied first
Purple too, this is more of a pinkish hue and not dark
Aha, purple eye shadow for the cat
Red brown for the shadows all around the eyes nose and mouth
Here as well
Orange patches on the fur
Darker blue and more light blue fill the eyes
Pink too
A touch of green makes everything realistic
Now its time for second level shading, brown eyeliner anyone? Hehe
Adding blue to brown makes black
Now, plus black and brown for the pupils
You can always retouch on the lighter colors. Shade with black and brown on the mouth
Pink or red on the nose, this adds life.
Then darken the shadows of the eyeballs by using grey. For a 3D effect.
Darken the eyes! Then draw the fur using grey brown and orange. The background is night time so the lamp lights on the street causes the cats fur to be yellow.
!
Background is a swish swoosh of colors then layer black
Then you are finished!
Thankyou! Enjoy!
