Kittens are so different from old cats - at least our two are!
Our old kitty cat that we put to sleep more than a year ago, never really wanted to climb anywhere high even as a kitten.
More than 20 years ago we had 2 kittens and they climbed a few places in our house - but honestly I can't remember them being as curious and wanting to climb/jump into every high place possible in our house.
Blaze on top of our refrigerator.
The only other cat we had 32 years ago in this very same house, was a climber!
Tigger fell off of the same ledge you see in this photo, onto a lamp in our living room and broke it!
Thankfully the kitty was okay and we just bought or fixed that lamp!
"Okay, now what? Is this the highest spot in this house for me to climb up to?"
Prince with cat chew toy. Ignored this toy for a couple of months - but had a lot of fun with it including putting it in the water bowl and spilling it. Haha.
"Seriously how do we open this bag of cat food?"
"Well, I am just so happy that Larry made this cat toy with his 3D printer, I wonder why he put it in the sink. Oh well, at least he put a handle on it for me!"
*Larry is my husband who has a 3D printer! He has made so cool things with his printer!
