In our group of friends called Rookies, we take pride when someone from our circle graduated from college. It's a feat not easy to achieve and so, we always celebrate it! We always have something up our sleeves to make any celebration fun.
^ The celebrant - Justin just finished his Bachelor's degree in Criminology. Congrats, tol.
As you can see, we made a tarpaulin for him. Of course, we would not make the stunt if we know he'd be offended but we're all chill people so I guess the fun message reached him.
We're almost complete on that day. We have a big circle, we barely fit the frame. We decided to surprise him in a resort. He's shocked, that's an understatement, but we know he's grateful for this simple act.
Towards the end of the day, we gave him our message of goodluck to his life after college. It's evident that life outside the university is a much tougher one. It's a good thing that we're here for him to make him laugh and support him in his future endeavors.
Can you spot me?
P.S. That same day, in front of the resort, a motorcycle accident happened leaving two people dead and one extremely wounded. We were shocked and saddened by this event that we halted our celebration for a while. Let us pray to these poor souls who left their family at an early age. It's also a reminder to be always careful when driving.
There is one creepy story that circled around after the accident happened. When the wounded victim have woken up, the police asked for his statement regarding the accident. He said that he recalled that the lone person who's driving the other motorcycle had a child hugging him from his back. But there was no child in the scene. The said person has a 2 month old child but that's not the child, of course. In our place, there is a popular story about a child taking people's lives. It might be that child or it might not. Let's all keep safe.
