Celebrity Sketch #3 - Noel Gallagher

This man and his music especially had a big influence on me in my formative adolescent years, as he did with so many of my generation during the 1990's. There was a time when I knew every word of every song he'd written and performed with his brother Liam and their band Oasis. He helped me through a lot of tough and confusing times, as I'm sure he also did for many of my peers.


I've grown up a lot since then and don't hold him in such high regard as I used to but I still like to listen to the music every now and again to remind myself of who I used to be. I admit that at one time in my life I held him up as a bit of a personal hero but I'm not the boy I used to be and realise now that heroes are much harder to come by these days than you might think, something I might elaborate on soon in another post.

Regardless, he has an interesting face and I enjoyed drawing him. :)
