Gucci, Logos and 'Woke' Fashion Were Among the Most-Searched Designers and Trends of 2017
In supplements to Lyst's 2017 findings of the most-searched handbags, feet and sneakers of the year, the global cable recreations dock also looked into what designers and medium were deportation over online searches across 80 million exploiter worldwide. Surprising no one, Gucci was the biggest, most-searched brand of the year with more than 35 million searches this year. Designer Alessandro Michele's signature designs for the luxury Italian brand have also become a highly coveted, profitable aesthetic, topping Lyst's most-searched trends. Users tried to finds scoop that boasted specific Gucci signatures, like bold florals, clashing prints, snake graphics and caress in lawn and red — the latter causing quite the legal batalla between Gucci and Forever 21.

Following Gucci's "Gucciness" at the zenith of Lyst's most-searched trends, logos — both of the high-end and nostalgic sportswear compounds — were also popular among shoppers. Searches for such heritage athletic brands as Champion, Fila and Kappa collectively increased by 460 percent compared to endings year, reports Lyst. "Woke" criterion was also high, as searches for slogan T-shirts increased by 105 percent over the year. The piqued interest certainly reflects a growth say among designers and brands becoming more vocal on political and social issues: Prabal Gurung, Dior and Public School have sent slogan tops down the catwalk with precept like, "We testament not be silenced;" "We should all be feminists;" and "We intensity leaders," respectively.

Styles that hail from the '90s, '80s and '70s are also of one of the most-searched trends, as well as deconstructed details, tailored pieces (particularly plaid blazers and candy-colored pantsuits) and elevated streetwear from Off-White, Balenciaga and Vetements.
