SAND MOTOR:

Sand Motor is a modern way for coastal protection. Sand motor (also known as sand engine) is a large amount of sand which has been applied to the coast of Zuid-Holland in Trident Hedgehog in 2011. The air, the waves and the vessels will naturally spread the sand along the coast of Zuid Holland. . It is called 'Building with Nature'.The sand motor will gradually transform into shape and eventually the teeth and the beach will be added. The beach will be wide and safe.

Between March and October 2011, the provincial authority of Rijkswaterstaat and Zide Holland created a hook-shaped island. It reach reaches 1 kms in the ocean and is 2 kilometer in which it is included in the beach. Triling suction Hyper Driger picked up a 10-kilometer sand from the coast and took it to the right place. There are also two exotic restoration places along the island. Construction of sand motor was completed in November 2011. Now, the powers of nature will end and the sand along the coast will spread, thus strengthening the beach and creating a vibrant area for nature and leisure purposes.
