We have wednesday today and theme for today is Structures given to us by our mentor or legend . So I am going to share with you the information or research about the Mausoleum of Jinnah in Karachi, Pakistan. So here is the pictures;
History
This Mausoleum belongs to the Founder of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah who was later called as Quaid-e-Azam as it is the phrase which means the great leader and yes he was the great leader of Pakistan. After the partition of Hindustan, he became the first governer-general of Pakistan. He died on 11th of September 1948 in Karachi.
Structure
This building was designed or architect by the famous architect Mr. Yahya Merchant. It is made up of white marbles with curved Moorish arches and copper grills reset on an elevated 54-sq-metre platform. The Mausoleum covers 53-hectres of park and has about 43m of height built on a 4m high platform. It has 15 successive fountains leads to one side of platform. The inner sanctum reflects the green of a four-tiered crystal chandelier gifted by the people republic of China. At night there is spot lights in the park which beam light on the Mausoleum.
Inner Structure
There are three graves in a row, one to the north belongs to Miss Fatima Jinnah the sister of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The extreme northern another one belongs to Liaquat Ali khan the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, on extreme southern belongs to Sardar Abdu Rab Nishtar and in the middle is buried Nurul Amin who rose to be the vice-president of Pakistan. Special ceremonies like 23 March (Pakistan day), 14 August (independence day), 25 December (Jinnah's birthday) and 11 September (Jinnah's death day) takes place here. On independence day a special tribute is payed to the Jinnah through 3D mapping show by 3D illumination.
