so youtube suffered a major outage for more than an hour yesterday, I missed out on that hour so for me it did not have that much impact but for people who do live on the site (second biggest search engine tbh) then I can understand the shock to their media watching bubble.

Those are the times when we have a major opportunity to hard sell people on things like dtube and decentralised media storage and to get people over to have a look while we have their gaze away from the eye of Sauron (I mean youtube)

I don’t know canadians can now smoke pot legally and youtube goes down for an hour, I’m telling you, some kids are mighty stoned with a big ddos cannon somewhere laughing their heads of right now because that’s the world right now ;)

You can’t change an economy without a war, maybe the war is just under the surface, tech savvy people accruing digital wealth opens up access to resources never thought possible before — that has a cascade effect, the mobilised on the move digital collectives are building up their digital armouries trust me on that!
