I was going about my activities on Twitter only to realised that I got a notification saying I broke X rules and my account was put on lockdown. I decided to check the comment I made that may have caused the lockdown only to realized it was a comment where I joked that "another footballer can break the ankle of another football, especially since they were tackling them".
Then someone reported me for using violent conduct. It was hilarious because the stated was reportive. The person I talked about has a history of injuring other players and I just stated the fact that this person could injure another person and boom! A 12 hours timeout.
I was surprised because the system could actually choose to do an analysis of the comment. You know how someone can say something like "my sister will kill me if don't get home" boom!
the system sees this statement and says it's a direct violation of the rules and most importantly if a regular idiot who doesn't understand sarcasm, literal statements or jokes.
The AI system is not smart enough
Social platforms aren't so social, you'd get people who would say things to you and you aren't even referring to them. Some people would choose plain just because you got into an argument with them over banter and football or something.
Social networks are probably filled with people who vent their everyday frustrations on others and it just shows how broken the human society is when they cannot recognise friendly banter, humour or even jokes..
The system is harsh
However what thrilled me the most was how they outrightly lock you out without offering anything like a guide, a sort of warning or maybe an AI that could basically guide you about why a comment or post was reported, who reported them and maybe how to futuristically avoid them at all cost.
They have an AI that looks at the actual meaning of words without understanding the literal meaning, so if anyone takes advantage of this limited understanding of the Twitter's AI by reporting you for using the literal meaning of words instead of actually meaning or maybe takes a joke statement into actual intent, then this becomes a huge problem.
It means the AI is not smart enough.
GROK
Elon Musk oftentimes boasts of how smart GROK actually is, and how it's become better, but truthfully the system has become stricter for personnels and mostly affects free speech. Elon Musk has a new CMO as well, and this guy has been on a rampage; demonitizing accounts, cracking down on infofi and just about suspending any account they deem fit.
Far from fair
But, they've got a fair monetization policy and you can actually earn some bi-weekly cash by just building a small community of supporters, having 5M impressions within 3 months, a sort of verification via documents and of course buying Twitter verification.
So recently I decided to buy this verification to build some bi-weekly income for myself for creation contents.
Started 2 weeks ago and aiming to achieve verification in 2 to 3 months time, but today I was reminded that Centralized Platforms can do whatever they want. I'll see how it goes. They timeout my account for 12 hours, and so I'll check to see what they intend to do after that.
You got smashed ❌
I intended to also build or startup a faceless YouTube automation channel, but I refused because my content type required making reference to the content material of others, but I didn't go ahead because I didn't want to be hit with a copyright charge.
I understand centralized platforms well, these guys can destroyy what you build without prior warning. However they offer the mega money, and that's why we try anyway.
