Creo que hasta la fecha no os había traído ninguna cerveza desde Francia. En esta ocasión se trata de una Doble IPA de los afamados Popihn Brasserie, ubicada cerca de París.

No soy muy fan de los nuevos lúpulos como el Talus o el Sabro por su potente sabor con matices de melón y coco que normalmente se apoderan de todo el sabor de la cerveza y la convierten en algo pesada. Pero en esta ocasión, los maestros cerveceros de Popihn han mezclado con sabiduría el Talus, con sus compañeros de viaje Triumph y Citra, obteniendo una cerveza compleja en sabores, muy sabrosa y equilibrada. Los sabores a uva y cítricos combinan perfectamente con los citados anteriormente que aporta el Talus.
Popihn, con sede en la campiña de Borgoña, fue fundada por Arnaud Popihn en 2017. Son especialistas en cerveza lupulada, pero sus cervezas negras y ácidas tambien merecen la pena.
Me encanta el logo de esta cervecera, el cual supone un guiño a la Proporción Aurea de Leonardo Fibonacci.

I'm not a big fan of the newer hops like Talus or Sabro because of their powerful flavor with hints of melon and coconut that usually take over all the flavor of the beer and make it heavy. But on this occasion, Popihn's brewmasters have wisely blended the Talus with its fellow travelers Triumph and Citra, obtaining a beer that is complex in flavours, very tasty and balanced. The grape and citrus flavors combine perfectly with those mentioned above provided by the Talus.
Popihn, based in the Burgundy countryside, was founded by Arnaud Popihn in 2017. They are specialists in hoppy beer, but their dark and sour beers are also worth a look.
I love the logo of this brewery, which is a nod to Leonardo Fibonacci's Golden Ratio.
