"La Cabeza del Aquila Quimera" The solitary bird has given rise to many myths and legends, some worrying. It was said at one time that its construction had been destined to a chapel. There were also rumors that it was for a time a lair of smugglers and some people even believed that it was a Nazi enclave, a confusion due to Hitler having a house in the Germanic Alps called also the Eagle's Nest
Antartida at 1 hour from Montevideo.
La Quimera the official name of the architectural project better known as Águilas nest, is located in Villa Argentina in Uruguay. It is a beautiful construction that served as the home of the pioneer of the place Natalio Michelizzi, the project was carried out by Juan Torres using artisanal means. It is a unique place to visit.
