Má poslední návštěva v Jeseníkách mne zavadla do jednoho opuštěného lomu. Stěny lomu obrůstaly stromy. Z jednoho místa jsem pro vás udělal malý GIF. V celku nepříznivé místo pro stromy a přece tam rostou. Nejsou to žádní krasavci. Jistým způsobem však vyzařují odhodlání a houževnatost potřebnou k udržení svého života.
Kéž bychom měli tolik houževnatosti, jako ty stromy.
My last visit to the Jeseníky Mountains has led me to one abandoned quarry. The walls of the quarry were covered with trees. At one point I made a small GIF for you. In a totally unfavorable place for trees, they still grow. They are no good beauties. In a way, however, they emulate the determination and tenacity necessary to sustain their lives.
I wish we had as much toughness as the trees.
