Every minnow has seen the value of steem posts going down in last few weeks after HF 19 and complaining about it. By now most of steemers know the reason for it. If the minnows don't know it the 2 primary reasons for it are:
1) Fluctuations in market price of steem to Dollar. The posts are paid in dollars.
2) The amount of money that is being paid currently to the new posts and comments.
However the reason I am writing this post is to provide some useful hints to minnows based on my observations. Most minnows use bots like 
This is what most minnows do:
- Submit post to minnowsupport discord channel for upvote as soon as it is created.
- Send SBD to
Doing the above things in my experience causes the post to lose value over the next 7 days till it is paid. I was guilty of it too.
What I have started doing last few days?
- Submit to minnowsupport discord channel for upvote 13-14 hours before the blog is paid.
- Send SBD to
- Send SBD to
- Self upvote(if you believe in it) 13-14 hours before the blog is paid.
The key is to do everything LATE to get the maximum out of the upvotes from the bots.
This blog is only useful if you belive in the power of bots and are helpful in getting you paid more.
