Today, I discussed about this topic with my mum. As someone from younger generation, I am quite open minded especially in my Asian community.
Yea, like what you could have guess, we have conflicting opinions since my family is pretty conservative.
I am extremely fine with cohabitation but it is still like a taboo in my community. Pretty much, 8 out of 10 would be having a negative perception about this.
That's why many young adults nowadays still dare not practice cohabitation. Even if they did, they would try their best to hide it.
Of course, one of the main reasons is them living with parents. As what I mentioned in previous post, Asians tend to live with parents. You would probably get a beating if you bring your partner back home :)
Also, the society here tend to look at girls differently if they admit for cohabitation. Isn't this sexist then? Why do they care so much about virginity? As if they won't be having sexual activities if they aren't staying under one roof, right?
That's all for my ranting today. If you're reading this till the end, thanks and hope you enjoy it :)
