Chaincoin. The coin that was pumped by multiple Youtube cryptocurrencey investors. Will the coin ever go back up in price?
The whole Chaincoin revoultion was started by Youtuber HighonCoins AKA Max. Max had a strategy based on strictly hodling the coin and never selling it. In the beginning, when this idea was picking up lots of traction, the coin shot up to almost 7.00$. After the coin hit its highest point it consistently going down and is now around .70$ as I write this. There are lots of theories as to why this coin dropped in price and why Max portrayed so much confidence in this strategy. It would make sense if this whole hodl movement was just a huge pump and dump and Max profited greatly off of this, but since there is no proof as of yet I don't want to make accusations.
The question everyone wants an answer to is will Chaincoin ever go back up? I predict that it truly wont go back up unless it is pumped up again. There is no real use for this coin other then trading it and making masternodes with it. This means the coin really has no real value like Bitcoin or Monero. To everyone invested in the coin currently, you should hodl and pray that the coin gets pumped again like it did in the beginning and then sell at the top, because it seems there is no real future for this coin.
I respect Max and I enjoy is crypto videos, but until he shows proof that he still owns all of his chaincoin and he didn't dump it, there is no reason anyone should trust his word. As the coin plummets, he keeps making some sort of excuse as to why it happened. For example every time the coin has dropped he has used excuses such as "his cryptopia account was hacked" or "whales are trying to lower the price". After sometime, these excuses start to become less and less believable. The chaincoin developers are also basically nonexistent, though I heard there are 3 developers currently active, but that may just be a lie.
All in all I believe people should definitely stay away from investing in this coin as there is no potential future and Max is to be untrusted until he shows his collection chaincoins or his masternodes. Instead invest in altcoins with a future like monero or steem. ;)
