Your circumstances do not define you.
Please read that again.
It doesn't matter what path you're walking right now. It doesn't matter how difficult it is to see the through the mess life throws at you. It will not look like this forever and you always have the opportunity to change your situation.
Always.

I used to get so mad when people would say that to me. I'd get defensive actually because there was no way for me to magically make more money appear in my life. Then I would hear people on webinars saying things like "If you really wanted it, you'd
make it happen" and I'd scream "How?" or "That's easy for you to say". It plain sucked. So I get it. When it comes to paying for an autoresponder versus buying bread and milk for the week to feed your family, the choice is pretty clear.
However, there are always opportunities that arise in our life, it's just that sometimes they go unseen or we see them and let our fears or insecurities convince us that it's not a good idea to take action.
There will ALWAYS be a reason not to.
I joined Click Track Profit in 2011 when I was very pregnant with my first child. I had been tinkering around in online marketing for several years before that with no actual idea of what in the world I was doing. Randomly one night, I happened to surf past
a live webinar that Jon Olson was doing and he announced he was going to give away $150 to someone that night. I thought, "What the heck, I'll try!". All I did was show up and engage in conversation. I asked some genuine questions and listened.
I guess what I spoke about caught Jon's attention because I ended up winning the money.
There was a very real moment where I thought "Yes!! I desperately need to make a credit card payment! Now I can!"

There I was, pregnant and on maternity leave and swimming in debt like most of the world. I could have taken that money and split easily, making a payment on a card or buying some groceries and never looking back. That would have served me for probably another week and then I'd be right back in the same situation as I was was that night. Scrambling.
I didn't do that though.
Instead, I bought a yearly upgrade at Click Track Profit that very night. It was a gamble. To some, maybe even a stupid one. However, that decision impacted the rest of my online journey tremendously because in that moment when I bought that upgrade, I made a decision that I was going to show up and commit to the training, make myself known and make something happen.
That is exactly what I did and within the same year, I ended up joining Timtech as a support person, working next to Jon Olson and his team. It was an incredible experience and I will forever be grateful to have had the opportunity. I learned more then I could ever put into words just having the ability to listen to these guys on Skype calls daily, brainstorming and coming up with ideas as they ran some of the most successful websites in this industry at the time. It was like being a fly on the wall and I tried to soak
up as much information as I could.
I don't have all the answers and I've certainly had my setbacks since my journey began but the only thing I know for sure is that if I had not taken action in that moment and bought that upgrade, I would not have had that opportunity.
Jangle would not be here.
It wasn't a million dollar opportunity. It wasn't magic. It was a moment in my life where I made an impulsive decision to take a risk.
I urge you to try it sometime. You never know where it's going to take you!
