Ich habe fast unbemerkt eine weitere 30-Tage-Challenge absolviert und zwar habe ich auch urlaubsbedingt vor sogar etwas mehr als 30 Tagen damit aufgehört, Nachrichten im Fernsehen anzusehen und es fühlt sich gut an.
Davor habe ich mir fast täglich die staatlichen Nachrichten (ZIB2) angeguckt, die zwar besser sind als die ZIB1, wo man staccatohaft mit oberflächlichen Journalisten-Meinungen konfrontiert wird, aber eigentlich muss ich jetzt sagen, dass ich die Nachrichten nicht vermisst habe. Gut, das kann auch am Sommerloch liegen, aber ich denke, wenn man die Nachrichten im Internet verfolgt, reicht das eigentlich völlig aus.
Ehrlich gesagt, wird den Politikern durch staatliche Nachrichtensendungen ein viel zu wichtiger Stellenwert eingeräumt, die wirklich wichtigen Themen (Eurokrise, Migrationsproblematik, Kryptowährungen, etc.) kommen viel zu kurz, es geht oft nur um Befindlichkeiten und Streitereien und es wird durch die Auswahl der Nachrichten und Art und Weise der Berichterstattung auch Manipulation ausgeübt. Zugegeben, die Nachrichten haben manchmal auch einen Unterhaltungswert, aber es gibt vielleicht bessere Formen der Unterhaltung, als Politikern beim Lügen zuzusehen ;)

I have passed another 30 day challenge almost unnoticed since I was also on vacation. I stopped watching the news on TV a little over 30 days ago and it feels great.
Before that I watched the state news (ZIB2) almost daily, which is better than ZIB1, where you are confronted with superficial journalist opinions all the time, but I have to say now that I actually did not miss the news. Well, that can also be due to the summer slump, but I think following the news on the Internet is actually quite enough.
Let's face it, politicians are given far too much importance by state news programs, the really important topics (euro crisis, migration crisis, crypto currencies, etc.) are often neglected, it is often only a matter of sensitivities and arguments and manipulation is also practised through the choice of news and the way of reporting. Admittedly, the news are sometimes entertaining, but there may be better forms of entertainment than watching politicians lie ;)
